The laundry question, country by country
Between January and October 2026, our pages were shown in Google searches more than 150,000 times, in eight languages. Here is what each country asked before it did the washing.
Germany
Beige is the worry

The short answer. Pale beige, yes, if it is colourfast and clean. Test a seam first.
Britain
Grey with black, not white with colours

The short answer. Charcoal and dark grey, yes. Light grey goes in with the whites.
Italy and Poland

The short answer. For everyday, lightly worn clothes, 30°C does the job. Towels and bedding usually want 40°C or 60°C.

How we counted
We read the Google Search Console data for terrea.co.uk from 7 January to 1 November 2026: the top 500 search queries by impressions for each language version of the site (1,000 for the UK). A colour question is one that names a colour and washing. These are the questions that led people to our pages, not every search in each country. For scale, Google Ads Keyword Planner (UK and six EU markets) puts monthly searches for “weiße Wäsche waschen” at about 2,900 and for “beige mit weiß waschen” at about 210 (October 2025 to September 2026).
