Scent boosters, and what they are for

A booster is not a stronger detergent. It is the finish: a small dose that keeps the note close to the cloth after the wash is done and the drum is empty.

What it does, and what it does not

A booster shapes how the scent settles into the weave. A conditioner smooths the surface of the fibre. They do different jobs, and one does not replace the other.

UK water and cycles

Most homes wash between 30 and 40 °C. The concentrate disperses in hard water and releases gradually through the cycle rather than all at once.

How to use

Measure rather than guess. Add at the start of the cycle so it disperses fully.
